Beacon is the first accredited college offering four-year degrees designed around the needs of students with diagnosed learning disabilities. We offer both bachelor and associate degrees in an environment specifically created to help our students thrive and engineer amazing, abundant lives for themselves.
For students who learn differently — those with diagnosed learning disabilities, dyslexia, ADHD and related conditions — that adventure can be tough. Absent thoughtful, intentional supports that are native in the Beacon academic and social experience and honor different learning styles, students often stumble bridging wide gaps created by limited or unfocused accommodations.
Gina Kavali is a nationally syndicated radio personality and host of "Life With the Spectrum" on YouTube. Gina is also a proud mother to an 11-year-old son, Lyric, who is on the spectrum and the inspiration for everything she does now. Based in Atlanta, Gina Co-Founded Atlanta's first premier social event called "Table Talk." When she isn't multi-tasking, Gina loves to travel with her family, go to concerts with her friends, and speak on being a FORCE for good!
